Huxley & Kent announced nine new products for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day 2027, with wholesale prebook orders closing November 15, 2026 and shipping starting in December 2026.

The calendar Huxley & Kent just set

The Valentine's assortment includes four dog toys: Lankies Best Buddy Monster (a heart-bearing character with legs filled with rope and a bottle squeaker that crinkles), Fetchies Snuggle Bug (a segmented design with shake-to-squeak action), Hunt 'n Squeak Pawberry Pup-Tarts (a plush shell with two sides, holding three squeaky toys you can take out, plus spaces to hide treats), and Tiny Tuff Hug Monster. The St. Patrick's Day lineup adds Hunt 'n Squeak Licky Charms (same discovery format as the Pup-Tarts) and Lucky Leprechaun, a plush toy with an orange beard, green hat, and what the company calls a cheeky wink.

Three accessories round out the collection: Pretty in Pink and Pink Pearl Bestie Beads, plus the Sweet Hearts Tulle Scrunchie. All three use a stretchy, slip-on construction that fits dogs and cats, sized XS/SM, MD, and LG/XL. The company said Bestie Beads and Tulle Scrunchies debuted during the 2026 holiday season and demand has continued to grow.

What the early ship window costs and buys

A December delivery for seasonal product means working capital sits in inventory before the selling window opens. For a single-location store, that's cash committed well ahead of when the product moves.

The prebook window closing November 15 gives buyers a defined timeline for the decision.

We write one of these every week for people who decide what goes on the shelf. subscribe to PetRetailNews.

The trade we'd watch: earlier commitment can secure the SKU before competing brands fill the same peg space.

Our read on the timing

The buyer who sees December delivery from one supplier now has a timing reference for other seasonal pitches.

The risk we'd weigh for the store: committing to seasonal product in November. The risk for brands that ship later: the buyer may have already allocated the seasonal space by the time they pitch.

Robin Kershner, Huxley & Kent's founder and CEO, said the company designed the collection so shoppers can look at a shelf display and instantly imagine their own pet using the product. She added that the line combines holiday motifs with toys built around discovery play and wearables that let pets participate in celebrations. The merchandising angle is standard seasonal positioning. The ship date changes the buyer's calendar.

What's open now

If you stock Huxley & Kent, the prebook window is open and closes November 15. If you're deciding whether to add the line, the December ship date means committing before you've seen how this year's seasonal assortment performs.

If you're a brand operator pitching seasonal product to independents, we'd note the timing: buyers taking December delivery from one supplier will have that ship date in mind when they hear other seasonal pitches.

Wholesale orders go to orders@huxleyandkent.com. The company said shipping is expected to begin in December 2026.
