The European pet product supplier is bringing up to 13 exclusive bundle offers created for the show, combining what the company called proven bestsellers with new products at promotional prices. The company also said it will show a display concept for its Soft & Strong dog products, along with harnesses, leads, treats, transport solutions, cat furniture including scratching waves and posts, and small animal accessories.

The bundle play and what it costs the buyer who takes it

A bundle offer at a trade show is a pre-negotiated assortment decision. The retailer who buys one is trading merchandising control for a price break and speed. TRIXIE picks the SKUs, sets the display, and the buyer gets promotional pricing in exchange for taking the whole package.

That works when the bundle matches what's already turning in the category and the buyer trusts the supplier's read on what moves together. It doesn't when the bundle includes a new SKU the store hasn't tested, or when the promotional price requires a commitment the buyer can't clear in 60 days. The company said the bundles combine bestsellers with new products, which means at least some of the SKUs in each bundle are unproven on the buyer's shelf.

A buyer could walk out of PATS with a pre-built assortment that includes one or two SKUs that sit, and the promotional pricing on the bundle as a whole might not cover the margin loss on the slow movers. If the bundle is built around a category the store is already committed to and the new SKUs are line extensions rather than category experiments, the speed and the price break are real.

The display concept and the space it assumes

TRIXIE said it will show a matching display concept for its Soft & Strong products. A matching display concept means the supplier is offering fixture design, signage, or planogram guidance that presents the line as a unified block rather than as individual SKUs mixed into the existing shelf.

That's valuable if the store has the linear footage to give the line its own section and the Soft & Strong brand is already known to the customer base. It's a problem if the store is single-location without dedicated endcap space, or if the display concept assumes a footprint the buyer can't commit without pulling a competitor's line that's already performing.

Our read on the show-floor bundle as a merchandising shortcut

Bundle offers at trade shows are a speed play, not a strategy play. They work for the buyer who already knows the supplier's line, has tested the core SKUs, and is looking to add depth or refresh a section that's turning. They don't work as a way to enter a new category or test a supplier for the first time, because the bundle format removes the buyer's ability to cherry-pick the one or two SKUs that fit the store's customer base and leave the rest.

The 13-bundle count TRIXIE announced suggests the company is segmenting the offers by category or price tier, which gives the buyer more control than a single take-it-or-leave-it package. But the fundamental trade remains: the buyer is exchanging the ability to build a custom assortment for a price break and a pre-designed display.

If you're walking PATS and considering a TRIXIE bundle, ask at the booth whether you can see the full SKU breakdown and the promotional pricing before you commit, and whether the bundle includes any SKUs you'd have to test before you'd stock them at full depth. If it does, the bundle is a risk unless the promotional pricing is deep enough to cover a test on the unproven SKUs.

What this changes if you're already stocking TRIXIE or being pitched it

If you already stock TRIXIE and the Soft & Strong line is turning, the PATS bundles are worth a look. The company is offering promotional pricing on SKUs you've already validated, and the display concept might solve a merchandising problem you're facing. If you don't stock TRIXIE and you're being pitched it for the first time, the bundles are not the right entry point. Test the core SKUs first, at regular pricing, and come back to the bundle offers once you know what moves in your store.

The company said its team will be available throughout the show to discuss product trends and merchandising opportunities. That's the conversation worth having if you're already a TRIXIE buyer and you're looking for category guidance or display support. It's less useful if you're trying to decide whether to stock the line in the first place, because the trade show floor is not the place to negotiate a first order or to pressure-test a supplier's claims about velocity.

TRIXIE will be at Stand G30 in Hall 3.
