LOS ANGELES, CA — October 12, 2026 —

HomeLife Brands, the company behind iHeartDogs and iHeartCats, launched Best In Show, a premium weekly video series that brings founders, athletes, entertainers, and cultural icons together for conversations that begin with an animal. Season one is now filming.

The show's premise holds that every great story has an animal somewhere in it. Each episode starts with the animal that shaped a guest's life and follows the conversation into their defining moments. Best In Show is not a pet podcast. It is long-form storytelling about the moments that define a life, and the animals that were there for them.

Host Mimi Dybs leads the conversations in a multi-camera studio with cinematic lighting and sound. Long-form episodes air on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, with short-form clips distributed on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

"This isn't a pet podcast," said Marshall Morris, founder of HomeLife Brands. "It's a show about extraordinary people, and the animal is the way in. Ask someone about the dog that got them through the hardest year of their life and you get a story they have never told anywhere else."

Pet brands and retailers can secure partner placements for season one and two. The show reaches HomeLife Brands' network of 20 million Facebook fans, 3 million Instagram followers, 2 million email subscribers, and 7 million monthly readers.

Guest pitches are accepted at thebestpod.com. The show is available on YouTube at youtube.com/@BestinShowPodcast and on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook at @bestshowpod. Media inquiries can be directed to hi@thebestpod.com
